The Night Sky
The night sky raids my eyes and ears
With triumphs, vict'ries; truths and fears.
The night sky makes my mind aware
Of all the things that life might dare.
They night sky fills my soul with awe
For nature - hear the birds' cuck-ca?
The night sky, with its stars so bright,
Takes me closer, closer to flight.
The night sky hears my cries and wails,
It comforts me through all life's trails.
The night sky keeps my hist'ry close,
Reminding me in proper dose.
The night sky listens close to me,
Or when I need it, lets me be.
The night sky is so grand and fine,
Its precious glitt'ring oh so kind.
The night sky is my closest friend,
For me it never fails to fend.
But more importantly - it's true -
The night sky's there not just for me
But also you.
