Bright lights, center stage,
The cheerleaders “spirit” out,
They’re all the rage.
Quiet please, you need to settle,
The crowd watches intently,
Hoping for a medal.
Their routine is filled with stunts and tumbles,
Expecting perfection,
Fearing any stumbles.
Fans screaming at the top of their lungs,
Let’s go Hornets,
We’re number one!
Cheer complete, mission achieved,
The audience roars,
You have to believe!
