Life is sometimes called a jungle,
a rain forest stifling one's creativity.
It's a struggle to maintain
one's ideas, one's morals
through the exotic and boisterous cries,
as monsters manipulate one's mind
and slithering creatures seize one's soul.
Yet continue to strike back -
to be original,
to be individual,
to simply be yourself,
through the wilderness of society.
The path to sustain a
singular and distinctive personality
is camouflaged by
incredulous foliage and the oppressing
atmosphere.
Entered by all, everyone attempts to
tackle the treachery
but only the enlightened,
those who realize their own inner beauty,
are able to leave the facade called the jungle.
