What is love and what is compassion

What is respect and what is the proper fashion

What is a childhood and what is it to really live

And what is equality and what does it mean to give

What are memories and what is heartbreak

What is understanding and what is a handshake

What is reverence and what is virtue

What is honesty and what is true

All I know is the streets on which I must undertake

The plight of a lonely boy that refuses to break

And I cannot think past the very next hour

The next meal, the shelter in a rain shower

I have no regret I have no fear

Only an everlasting pain

I live everywhere with everything

But then suddenly I live nowhere with nothing again

Don't know why this poem is almost dead last, it's great! Keep writing! I want to read more of your work!
