   Taken from home

far, far away,

In a foreign place

there to stay.

Not treated well

as if no feelings were there,

feeling pain everyday

no one really cared.

Shots and chemicals to test

reactions,

substances sprayed or dropped in their eyes,

caged up in a small box

howling their tortured cries.

No voice to speak up

not a sound or cry,

quiet from the pain

just left in silence to die.
