   A creature in the darkness

Has deep purple eyes.

A mixture of an angry red,

And a morose blue.

And its pupils couldn't resemble

Anything but two cold, empty wells.

This creature is known as reality

To all who dare to dream.

All who gaze into its hypnotic eyes

Are left with tear-streaked faces,

Because the creature is the horror of reality,

And the truth knows only pain.
