The colors of our world
the fibers of our lives
Like the burning gold of a sunset
and the deepest black of night
But my world is gray
Some see in great vividness
the deep rose of a sweet caress
Does their sight bring happiness
My world is gray
The purest white of a new dawn
seems not too far,for some
The fresh green of a spring
many feel the joy it brings
But my world is gray
I see in white and black
Memories bring each color back
Transforming the two into one
Till my world is gray
