Sometimes I wonder why
people do what they do
When a stab in the back
from your very best friend
is nothing new
Sometimes I wonder how
they can be so unjust
When your secrets aren't safe
if you tell but one soul
there's no one to trust
Sometimes I wonder how
they can believe all they do
When a mere whispered word
can rip your life apart
and they'll laugh, too
Sometimes I wonder ...
but then I realize,
that I do it too
