Holding hands,
kissing lips,
Feelings kept secret,
Something's gone amiss.
You held me close,
and said you'd be true.
I wanted to be together,
but obviously not with you.
You left me alone,
alone in the dark.
I wanted you to hold me,
but now you don't acknowledge me.
I don't even know who you are.
You dangled my heart on the string,
no one told me that it'd sting.
My heart, burning, twisted, dripping in pain.
Don't bother apologizing,
You left me broken,
I'll never be the same.
