Daylight is stored in hidden attics,

where the ghosts of little children

trapped inside ancient cobwebs

shriek.

Darkness is painted

by madmen

with spiked maroon hair

who hold thick black candles,

that burn in the wind

and leave behind the scent of gothic cathedrals.
