   the rain falls in rhythms

speed up slow down

for a while nothing

then all at once it comes-

Tearing Tapping Drumming at my windows,

Beating at my brain

Screaming Accusing Complaining

Crashing Bashing

Crying Wailing

then nothing and I laugh

and I close my eyes and sigh

and then He's back

Ordering Taunting Teasing

Smashing Insinuating Laughing

and gone again.
