Senior Year MAG

By Anonymous

   Yesterday we were frightened minnows,

Lost in a terrifyingly unfamiliar world,

Uncertain of the future,

Not daring to swim alone,

Millions of conformists, all alike,

Struggling to break free from the confines of a single

harborage.

Today we are confident dolphins.

Adventurously probing unknown depths,

In control of our own destinies,

Knowing that we hold the key to our future,

Striving to maintain our exclusive identities,

Not having fully satisfied our curiosity.
