Zachor,
Remember,
The flaming word proclaims.
Think of the destruction
Of the Temples,
And remember.
Remember the pain,
And suffering
Of the Holocaust.
Blazing across the sky,
The single word
Symbolizing so much
Yet simple in meaning.
The fire dies out
As the black sky engulfs it,
But the word zachor
Is burned into my brain,
And I remember..
