Petal
By Heather Z., Newton, MA
delicate
fragrant
solitary
soaring into the heavens
silently sailing across the seas
saturated with a secret
of a plush scarlet
thoughtfully thinking
of whom to whisper to
and fulfill the heart with euphoria and love
unable to find
the daydreamer
she cries out for cupid
then murmuring the secret to him
an arrow is shot
love has been bonded-
because of the Petal
