   Sometimes

A little voice inside

Tells me to do things.

I try to hide

From the voice

But it tells me

To eat that extra cookie

I really don't need.

Or cheat on that test

I didn't study for.

Or pass by school

Instead of going in.

Or do other things

That people wouldn't think

A girl like me

Knows about.
