Yesterday I fell asleep
I dreamed a dream of oceans deep
I dreamed of angels in the snow
I dreamed of boats adrift and slow
I dreamed of eagles that could soar
I dreamed of a place free of war
I dreamed that we could live in peace
I dreamed that fighting soon would cease
Today I woke early dawn
And found that all my dreams were gone.
