A cool pillow
Bathed in lonely tears.
Quiet wind
Skimming across the dampness.
Another sleepless night.
A pale moon's smile
Offers no comfort.
One more empty face.
A wooly blanket.
Illusion of warmth.
Cold to the touch.
Never a friend.
