Her Surrender
By Elizabeth T., Melrose, MA
Back and forth
I rock with her
body like mush
and face of unselfish peace
unaware of the pain
she causes ...
Her blood
it streams from her breast
and tickles the floor
and stains my shirt
as I hold her ...
I feel her
but she feels nothing
for she has taken herself away
from
me ...
