At the end of the root,

You will find a knot.

It looks tired and worn.

The knot tells a story

Of a complex relationship.

It is distorted in pain

And hangs on for dear life.

Tangled in this knot

Is a daughter and a father.

They tie each other up.

No matter how they try,

They lock each other out.

Neither of them can be wrong,

But both can't be right.

The future stretches out in front.

Soon she will leave.

What will happen?

Will the knot

At the end of the root,

Ever untie?
