"Just who the hell do you think we are!"

As we leave tonight for our treats and our tricks
And eat so much candy we make ourselves sick
Remember the meaning of this holiday
Forgotten doors open a sacred gateway
The spirits roam freely, a right they deserve
A chance every year to return to earth
But as we wear mask, eat , and run around
There are also dark spirits, as many have found
As the day dies and the night begins
Come forces we humans cannot comprehend
Though we try to control them with witchcraft and magic
The results, you will find, can be very tragic
They are older than us and wiser and stronger
They are smarter than us, they’ve been around longer
So be careful my friends for Halloweens here
And remember beware of the things we should fear
