you MAG
lying in the grass
laughing your song
we count the clouds
& stare at the sky
so beautiful, so open, so wide
stretch our arms
as far as it takes
together we’ll make it.
you make me soar
our fingertips tickle the blue, milky soft
my dreams stretch the sky, rigid.
and it tears at the seam (masked by faith),
bleeding ecstasy
and the heavens
flutter like silk in the breeze
float to my ankles,
cool and smooth
then
rapidly,
billions trillions of stars
spill, joyous, through the chasm
into my eyes
like tears of glitter
