The clouds grew thicker in the sky

as we lowered our heads to say goodbye.

The flowers on top, the tears in our eyes,

the rain started falling from way up high.

Tears from heaven, that's what they are,

to let us know she has gone not far.

In our hearts and minds is where she will

now reside to let us know she did not die.

Please remember forever and ever she did not die,

but was carried away to someplace better.

In Dedication to Beth Brodie
