   When the weather warms,

And the forecast is devoid of snow

When color other than white protrudes beneath the melting ice,

When the birds return from their hiatus,

And those that remained come out of hibernation.

Spring is coming!

When flowers bloom and skies become clear,

During that period of time for the earth to heal,

When Nature is uninhibited by Winter's aftermath.

Casualties are being assessed in the calm before Summer scorches.
