   Dreams

My body, twisting and turning in the deep water.
Whoosh!
Eyes pop open in a flash!
Sighs of relief.
Trying to sleep, but one eye still open,
Watching, protecting from danger.
Drift away to my very own fantasy world.
The one where blue is orange, and pink is green.
Where boy is girl, and fear is hope, and love is hate.
Backwards, nothing makes sense - isn't that the beauty of it all?
Anything happens, everything happens.
Little girls in black suits, little boys in white dresses.
Elated tears of anguish and happy eyes filled with sorrow.
What!?
Explain to me! Don't open my eyes -
I can already see.

A room without a book is like a body without a soul.

This is a really, REALLY good poem. It's in the style that I sometimes write in-oris it usually?- and I love the way you write abouts the experience.

I'd really like it if you looked at my stuff. Thanx! ;D
