A boy:

I miss us; we were once so strong, like a brick, nothing could break us in half
I was dependent on you to always be there, especially when I needed you, but you let me down that one time.
I act like I am alright, like I am better without you, but the truth is, is that I need you.
You brought out the best in me.
I miss that, I miss you, I miss us.

We held hands so tight that no air could become between us,
We would walk and I held onto your arm, knowing you were always there for comfort.
And you were, I don’t know anymore.
I miss that, I miss you, I miss us.

I need that one chance to see you again, to talk and reminisce.
Face to face I want to look into those hazel eyes of yours like I once did
They meant a lot, they were beautiful,
Like we once were.
I miss that, I miss you, I miss us.

You held me strong, never letting me go
I felt so close to you I didn’t want that moment to go
It was perfect, you were perfect, we were perfect.
Our hands intertwined, it felt so right, there was not one doubt running through my head.
Our lips touched ever so softly
Like a white cloud, I didn’t want this moment to end.
If I could I would replay that moment again and again in my head.

I wish I could go back in time and change us.
I miss that, I miss you, I miss us.

I am falling apart
I am barely breathing with a broken heart
That’s still beating

I’m hanging on another day
Just to see what you will throw my way
And I’m hanging on to the words you say,
Hoping ill recover and be okay

Now I am banished, abandoned
Lost as to what I did
To make us turn out this way.
