Silence
Silence
Sometimes it is best to be seen and unheard
Sometimes you can say a lot, without speaking a word.
When you feel like you have nothing to say,
A smile or wave can brighten a day.
Sometimes words can be mis-understood,
and you want to take them back, if only you could.
But a touch or hug, along with a smile
can stay with a person for quite awhile.
So the next time you don’t know what to say
and you want to show you care, but can’t find a way:
Use your mouth without taking a breath
flash your best smile, and let it take care of the rest.
