Ode to Halloween

It's that time of year.
The time to show fear.
Scary movies and masks,
and sometimes mummies in large casts.
A lot of blood, terror, and gore,
like nothing ever seen before.
Little kids go boo,
but we know its not really true.
Free candy all around,
even for the person dressed as a hound.
It that time of year so make sure you stay alert.
Even of those pretending they're hurt.
