A Poem Of Simplicity MAG

   Poem of Simplicity

I love funky pencils
And recycled paper and pretzel rods
I love fast piano players
I love Elton and Carly
Honey Almond facial masks
An old friend calling on a whim
Just to say hello.
I love thunderstorms,
I love shooting baskets by myself.
I love Gilad
Dolphins, Dancing and Disney
The smell of homemade anything
I love having a song I request
Being played on the radio.
I love no longer growing.
Sometimes I love to cry
More times I love to laugh
I love lilacs
I love Don Johnson, David Copperfield, and the Phantom
I love curly hair (which I don't have)
I love the taste of salty air at Martha's Vineyard (I love Martha's Vineyard).
I love stars and plaid and silk and telescopes and linen
But more than anything I love to love
I love to have strong passion
For what I love
And I love life, most of the time
And when I don't,
I simply think of what I love.
I also love to make sense.
I love to be understood.
