I remember lying in my little yellow box
With the thin walls
And crooked macaroni sign that said "God Is Love."
I sat and did nothing but reflected over the unconnected sounds
Of the Cranberries and Tribe
As I made meaningless scratches on my Physics notebook.
Dolores O'Riordan is saying "You're so pretty the way you are."
But I beg to differ
What if I had long, silky, black hair and green eyes?
... Meaning, no.
None but to prove you fools for liking this.
It was reality in the yellow box
It was sanity when everything else was wrong.
Sure they look normal out there
But that's only because being in here changes everything
From here, you can see the truth.
