"Change is inevitable except from a vending machine."

Will you still love me in the morning?
If you wake up and outside it was pouring
Would you take it in?
Like you did with me with our hearts’ love soaring
Would you still feel me?
If you became numb to the worlds cold reality

Will you still love me in the afternoon?
If the songs of June do not meet your tune
Would you still kiss sweetly?
If we never looked back on others’ words discreetly
Would you spend your day?
Just holding my hand, letting time tick away

Oh, will you still love me in the evening?
If the day was harsh and you feel like weeping
Would you lock with my eyes?
And believe me when I say it’s alright
Would you go outside?
And look up to see the stars collide

Will you still love me throughout the night?
If we’re clearly tired but cannot say goodnight
Would you lay with me?
Until I fell asleep in your arms, so soundly
Would you keep me close?
And tell me you love me forever most

But, will you still love me in the morning?
If you wake up and I’m away with the angels exploring
Would you remember this?
Keep me close in your heart and cherish our first kiss
Would you spread my words?
To live life with no regrets and to play your own chords

Will you still love me?

The author's comments:
I wrote this when thinking about my certain someone. I wanted to know if he would love me no matter what the time of the day it is or with whatever happens in our ever changing lives.
