   Stepmother

She cares not how she acts
or what she says.
Only how she feels.
With every drink,
she opens the doors of Pain
wider ... and wider.
All I dream of is
Escape.
This ... hell.
All around me always ...
How can I stay?
knowing that I
am the cause of the
civil wars ... that last for
hours
days ...
My mere existence
giving them
a reason
to war.
What ever happened to
Peace?
