Why can't I

The past is over so why can't i let go?
There are so many secrets i just have to know.
Why did you leave me? Why'd you make me cry?
You never even said goodbye.
My life today is full of confusion.
The more time goes by the more i wonder if you were just an illusion.
The past is done but i still want to know, why can't i let you go?
