Taunting The Son Of Venus MAG

By Anonymous

The sickly sappy romance, what a joke!

The lovestruck fool too shy to say a word.

The fainting pale sweet woman, I revoke!

The always happy ending is absurd.

Romantic moonlit dinners, they should choke!

The simple words of love are dull once heard.

The lovers' antics bring forth laughs from folk.

The songs of love are painful to the birds.

How thankful I'm not struck with such a curse!

The walks by the cold ocean, I would freeze.

I'd step on feet while dancing. Even worse,

Express the feelings deep inside; oh, please!

My dormant feelings will remain unsaid

That someone should find out, is what I dread.
