   Peering deep into the night sky -

Steering hard with curious eye -

Every star fulfills its duty -

Showers earth with cosmic beauty -

Every star is much the same -

Yet each unique in more than name -

Every star a cosmic brother -

Yet none emulates another;

And now my eye beholds a star -

The greatest one up there by far,

And not because it burns more bright,

Or that it shines with sharper light;

But just because it caught my sight

On such a fine, majestic night.
