I'M You MAG

By Anonymous

   A farce too often overlooked

A porous shelter

dropped into everything when asked

"who are you?"

I am you

isn't that what you want?

now i'm just like everyone else.

Now I'm not myself.

Surround myself in lies

a wall built by the notion

of shedding my soul to become a fallacy.

I'm not normal

but now I'm you

Do you cry when you awake

from the drone-like sleep of normalcy?

The scattered tears lie upon pillows

as you get dressed in the cast of society

foreign thoughts ask for soul sacrifice

your submission is predicted

and your response dubs me abnormal

befriend the essence of your soul

and don't come crying to me.

I'm not normal

but now you are.
