A Poem

Why do you ask me?

Can't you see?

What exactly is it

you want me to be?

Is it because my life eludes you,

or is it because my life includes you?

I am not keeping you here

if you don't want to stay.

But I really don't understand ...

I only told you

I'm gay.

i think that this poem exposes a lot about the author. It is very well writen and shows how powerful his/her feelings are. I think they did a great job!

I think this poem is very interesting. I think it leaves the reader kind of questioning. Like what is he talking about until you get to the end of the poem.
