Let me have my say

You have said enough to speak for the deaf

Let me have my share

Your words are like gunshots aiming towards me

Let me say my peace

Threat,after threat, criticism, after criticism

To you their only words

To me their worst then the pound from any fist, or a kick in the throat

Try as I might to block out the sound of your voice

Try as I might to dodge the bullets

Like everything else, I fail

With all of your anger and frustration you shoot and shoot and shoot

Here in agony , suffering in pain I pray and wish that someone would kill me

Until that happens I wait here for my chance to have my say

I wait for my chance to say all that you want to hear and more

I wait for my chance to say that as much as I've hurt you, I kills me to know that you would believe that I could go that far

As I sit here dodging your bullets I wait to have my say.

Please let me have my say
