   Softly falling snow all around,

Forest-green pine trees growing from the ground,

A wreath hangs on every front door,

Into each cup, eggnog will pour,

Glowing candles behind panes of glass

Remind us all of Christmases past.

Christmas trees decorated with care,

Stockings hung with love by the stairs,

A pile of presents under the tree,

Soon will become unwrapped with glee.

Love shared with family and friends,

I wish Christmas time would never end.
