In the Beginning

too young to get married

wanting to prove everyone wrong

LOVE

that is what you called it;

a Love like no other.



Soon, a little girl arrives,

and another,

another,

and wait, one more.



Fighting begins

screaming, hitting, lying

sneaking, and

cheating.



Papers are drawn

"till death do us part"

vanishes

and a broken home appears.



Parents moving on,

meeting and enjoying

new people, but

no longer themselves.



The girls are the shadows.

No longer loved, now

only lost.

A memory of what is now lost.



Marriage again?

Wasn't love already found?

Confused, betrayed, LOST!
