The Ice Princess: A Series Of Haiku MAG

By Anonymous

   Blank eyes staring close

At nothing, her frozen seeds

Will never grow up.

Blighted ground barren.

No heat can thaw, no passion

Melt, she walks deadly.

Beauty is wasted

It gives no pleasure to her.

She made her bed well.

The sheets will never

Wrinkle for she sleeps coldly

Lovely but no kiss

Will waken her in

The morning, no prince ever

Breaks in, through the ice.
