She will never race up the hill again,

Nose to nose with Bandit

Her beautiful white mane will never streak back into my face,

As the wind tangles the white and blonde hair together

Flowing back as one

I'll never see her cute face with her ears perked forward,

Greeting me with a nuzzle in the stomach again

Her feet will never dance below me through the autumn leaves,

She is gone forever,

And a part of me is gone too
