bet you showed everyone the flower from my necklace

and made up some story about why it's in the glove

compartment of your car

bet you told everyone about what a stud you are - how

you snagged a 17-year-old who pretends she knows

more than she does

bet you underestimated me, baby

bet you think i believe you when you say "i'm having

personal problems right now" and want me to just hold

on and wait until ...

bet you think i'll just sit right here at my computer

writing poems plays stories until the day you call and

say "everything's okay"

bet you don't know what i did to

the last guy (james)

who played me like a fool

... he has no friends now

wanna be james?
