No feeling of my legs
No feeling of my arms
No feeling of hands
No one is doing me harm

I see double
I have no balance
So far what I’m living
Is a challenge

Every Friday
I take meds
It’s too strong
That it gets to my head

I say nothing
Of what I have
Some people
Would just brag

The heat makes me weak
The cold is just right
But when the sun goes down
I’m scared of the night

I’m scared of not walking
I’m scared of not seeing
So I have to be careful
For my very well being

It hurts
Knowing you’re the one causing it
But it’ll go away
Bit by bit

I have to be strong
I have to be happy
But knowing what I have
Just makes me feel crappy

For now I’ll have to live with it
It’ll never go away
But it feels great
Just to live another day

Seeing my family and friends
Lets me know
That journey never ends
