Teary Green Eyes

Why is it at night I tend to cry?My siblings worry, parents ask why.
I always yell, I have to lie, one day, I’ll say my final goodbye.
These green eyes can’t take no more, the pain sinks deep down to the core.
I can’t take it; I speed to the door, I scream as loud as a lions roar.
Thinking “why oh why, could this be?” I thought you loved me for me…
Sometimes, I really wish you could see, all of the pain, you cause me.
I cry so much more, day by day, I hate you, yet I want you to stay.
All you do is have your way, instead of you, I’m the one to pay.
So why is it at night I tend to cry? and why do my siblings worry, and parents ask why? Why do I always yell, why do I lie? Right now, I’ll say my final goodbye…
