Reality
Reality

From a black and white cow
 Grazing on the grass
Hearing the wind whisper in its ear
As the tree leaves rustle together

 From a man who once
Said “The hope of a skinny kid with a funny name
Who believes that America has a place for him, too.”
That man is named Obama and
We do have a place for him
 The White House
 To give us hope and
 Make dreams come true

So peace and prosperity can come
 So we can hear our
 Ancestors’ cries in the wind
 We shall over come
To have a country so great
 That the people in
 Kenya can hear our celebration

 His time has came
 To lead our democracy created

As he looks at all of America
 To look up and say
I am the president of the USA

We do not have to dream any more
Because this is not a dream
 No more
 It’s reality
So now we can open our eyes and smell the coffee.
