Questions
Life has it's ways of telling you
To stop and think
My mind overwhelms with pain....My soul will never feel the same
I hopped on the train of History,
To be told my Ethnicity was , tortured and raped.
By a man in disgrace....
My roots go back. To far to tell
Of whom I AM
And where I rightfully belong because there’s always a man who cut his way into
The blood line to claim his
Dishonest thrown.
To make more workers that he
Insanely disowns.
Now his blood travels through my veins,
So who am I?
Where is my place in this WORLD?
What is my real name?
Now you see the QUESTIONS
Of an African American girl.
But now in the present
I’m shown to not ask questions of the past
And just focus on
WHO I CAN BECOME
