who are you

What are you?
A host to nothing, an empty shell?
You stand all alone so no one can see the stains on the ground from where yor tears fell.

What are you?
You're alive but you can't live.
You can breathe in the air
but you can't smell the scent flowers give.

What are you?
You can see the trees blow and water swirl, but can you see the beauty of it?
All you can say, with your tiny voice, is you're just a girl.

Do you know the story of the little lost girl?
She cried and cried until her little heart had a crack, because everyday when she came home
she was greeted with a heartbreaking smack

I really like this piece for its content. But you have to avoid LONG lines in poetry. It really breaks the flow the poem needs to have. Other than it's great. Keep writing.
