3: 00 a.m. came alongand so did the heat of the summer night.i felt the grass on mybare feetand it made me reminisceabout first kisses, and the steam on the pavementwhen it rains.songs that pound at my patience played, slowly they brought aboutmemories that make meshiver.i remember the color of the skychanginglike our opinions of each other.it's getting cold outside now,i can almost hear the sound of leavescrunching beneath my feetin the fallas i walk away from you.
