The Fall

I'm standing here upon this ledge
Looking all around,
My only option left, it seems,
Is falling to the ground.
I step out into open air,
My heart begins to race,
I'm full of fear as icy clouds
Whip across my face.
As I fall further toward the Earth
I feel I've already died,
Then suddenly I'm flying away,
An angel at my side.
He says to me, "It's not your time
To join us in the sky,
You've fallen and flown, now you must go,
Teach all the World to fly."
