Friends are Forever
I loved her more than any other friend
I promised I’d love her till the end
But as I thought her life was over
It showed me life wasn’t forever
I waited for her text that day
Waiting for her to say I’m okay
But that text never came
My heart was filled with pity and shame
I felt I was the one to blame
I should’ve been with her
Then there wouldn’t be this picture
She is lying on the side of the road so innocent and cold
She was cut to pieces
Raped and beaten
Her memory has been eaten
Her memory she once had
Is wrapped in a bag
He life was so sad
I didn’t want to tell her
I wanted to let her memory grow
So that maybe she would know
Who we were
I stayed up all night trying to give her, her life back
As she started to remember me
I could already see
This life would never be the same
The life filled with so much shame
